My name is Brian Scharrenweber and I am from a city just outside Boston, Massachusetts, USA.  I have just graduated University and I have come to England to work for the Toxteth Tigers Basketball Programme and also play for the Liverpool Basketball Club. I am very excited and grateful to be a part of this organization.

To be able to teach the game I have played and loved for many years is an honour. With so many distractions that kids encounter everyday, this programme will help to develop teamwork skills and positive attitudes while playing one of the fastest growing sports in the world.  In addition to coaching, I am also available for one-on-one mentoring with kids that feel excluded in school or might have problems at home. 

These sessions may include taking a kid in to town, going to a movie, or even just help with their homework.  The objective for these sessions will be to serve as a positive role model and encourage kids to excel in and out of school.
