Following the success
of Aware's ‘Generation Game', which was successfully exhibited
in May at the Liver Building in partnership with the Culture
Company and Liverpool City Council Southern Suburbs, Aware
has been handed a new commission. Working with diverse groups
through a series of workshops, individuals from each group
will be shown how to take good artistic digital photographs
and then be asked to capture images of the City Centre from
their perspective. This will form a part of the ‘Around the
City in 80 Days' community programme.
JD-Associates have been working closely with Aware Photographic
Arts to prepare a 3-year Business Plan, and Artistic Programme,
and to introduce new robust operational and financial systems.
To date this has been a great success with the charity now
financially viable and new community volunteers recruited to
work on a range of new projects.
